Please support our efforts to protect Serbian Christians from the corrupted government of Montenegro that has adopted a new law which takes ownership of all sacred religious properties from the Serbian Orthodox Church by reading and SIGNING the following petition: Mr. President: Stop the Confiscation of Churches in Montenegro

The corrupted Montenegrin Government has united itself with the Montenegro Orthodox Church which is unrecognized by all Christian communities. It appears that the government and the unrecognized Montenegrin Orthodox Church want to confiscate all of the Serbian Churches and Monasteries in Montenegro.

Pay particular attention to the excerpts below of the new religious freedom law that the corrupted government of Montenegro put together to fulfill their aim:

Article 16 says that no religious community may have in its name “an official name of another country or its emblems.”

Article 7 bans “abuse of religious feelings for political ends,” whatever that may mean.

Article 24 says that the state can seize the property of any religious community that is determined by police to have violated the terms of its registration and been stricken from the rolls, without appeal.

Mr. President: Stop the Confiscation of Churches in Montenegro

Massive protests have erupted all across the Balkans in effort to raise awareness for this important issue with believers and religious leaders being subjected to violence by Montenegrin police.

Below is the picture of his Grace Bishop Metodije of Diokleia, a canonical hierarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro. His grace bishop Metodije was beaten by police on December 26th while peacefully participating in a protest against the adoption of a new law that results in the government confiscating Church property.
