On Friday, November 20, 2020, at 7:07 am in the Military Kovid Hospital “Karaburma” in Belgrade, His Holiness the Archbishop of Pec, Metropolitan of Belgrade and Karlovac and Patriarch of Serbia Mr. Irinej (Gavrilovich) reposed in Lord.
The funeral liturgy began at 9 o’clock, in the central part of the temple of Saint Sava where the body was on display, and it was served by Metropolitan Hrizostom of Dabro-Bosnia.
During the prayer, a dove flew into the Temple of Saint Sava. The bird was facing the frescoes of Holy Nemanjich saints and the Crucifixion of Jesus for several minutes, leaving people with a question- “What kind of a sign is our God presenting us with?”
