Metropolitan Amfilohije Radovic who raised the people up to defend Orthodoxy in Montenegro reposed in Lord on October 31, 2020, on the day dedicated to Holy Apostle Luke and Holy Peter of Cetinje

Metropolitan Amfilohije was born in Morača, Montenegro on January 7, 1938. He graduated from the Theological Seminary in Belgrade in 1962, and was ordained as a priest in 1968. On June 15, 1973 he was awarded a doctorate from the Theological School of Athens. On June 16, 1985, he was consecrated as Bishop of Banat.
