I gained the ability to manage sleep, and fall asleep and wake up at the hour I set for myself. If something in what I do is not clear to me, I force myself to think about it in a dream and in that way I find a solution … The interview we bring you was given by the scientist Nikola Tesla in 1899 for the magazine “Immortality” in his then laboratory in Colorado Springs
JOURNALIST: Futurists say that the twentieth and twenty fist centuries were born from the head of Nikola Tesla. They celebrate the reverse magnetic field and sing hymns to the induction iotor. Their creator is called a hunter who caught light from the depths of the Earth in his net, and a warrior who captured fire from the sky. The father of alternating currents will make physics and chemistry rule half the world. The industry will declare him its supreme saint, and the bankers its greatest benefactor. An atom was broken for the first time in Nikola Tesla’s laboratory. A weapon created by vibrations by an earthquake was created there. A black cosmic ray was also discovered there. Five races will pray to him in the Temple of the Future, because he taught them the great secret that Empedocles’ Elements should be fed with life forces from the ether.
TESLA: Yes, these are some of my more important discoveries. I am a defeated man after all. I didn’t accomplish the greatest thing I could.
JOURNALIST: What is it, Mr. Tesla?
TESLA: I wanted to illuminate the whole Earth. There is enough electricity in it to become another Sun. The light would shine around the hemisphere, like a ring around Saturn. The human race has not matured for great and good. In Colorado Springgs, I supplied the Earth with electricity. We can also supply it with other energies, such as positive psychic energies. They are in the music of Bach or Mozart, or in the verses of the great poet. There are energies of serenity, peace and love in the Earth’s interior; their expressions are the flower that grows out of the earth, the food we get from it, and all that makes it man’s homeland. I’ve spent years looking for ways those energies could affect people. The beauty and scent of roses can be taken as medicine, and the sun’s rays as food. Life has an infinite number of species, and it is the duty of scientists to find them in every form of matter. Three things are important in this. All I do is search for them. I know I won’t find them, but I won’t give them up either.
JOURNALIST: What are those things?
TESLA: The first thing is the food. With what stellar or terrestrial energy to feed the hungry on Earth? With which wine to quench the thirst all the thirsty, so that their hearts rejoice and they understand that they are gods?
The second thing is: how to destroy the energies of evil and suffering in which man’s life passes? They sometimes appear as epidemics from the depths of space; in this century these diseases have spread from Earth to space.
The third thing is: is there excess light in the universe? I have discovered a star that, by all astronomical and mathematical laws, can disappear without seemingly changing anything. That star is in this galaxy. Its light can condense to such a density that it fits into a sphere smaller than an apple, and heavier than the solar system. Religion and philosophy teach that man can become Christ, Buddha and Zarathustra. What I’m looking for is crazier, bigger and more impossible. That is: what to do so that in the universe every man is born as Christ, Buddha and Zarathustra.
I know that gravity is prone to everything that needs to fly and my intention is not to make flying devices (airplane or rocket), but to restore man’s awareness of his own wings… Next, I try to awaken the energies that are in the vacuum. Vacuums are the largest sources of energy; what is considered emptiness is only a manifestation of unawakened matter. There is no emptiness on Earth, nor in space. In the black holes, spoken of by astronomers, are the most powerful energies and sources of life.
JOURNALIST: Pigeons land on the window of your room at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, on the thirty-third floor, every morning.
TESLA: One has to be sentimental towards birds. It’s because of their wings. And he once had them, real and visible!
JOURNALIST: You haven’t stopped flying since those old days in Smiljan!
TESLA: I wanted to take off from the roof and I fell: wrong childish calculations. Remember, young man: wings are everything in life!
JOURNALIST: You have never been married! None of your love for a woman is known. Photos from your youth show you as an extremely handsome man.
TESLA: No. I have not. There are two ways: a lot or no sex. The middle serves to restore the human genus/population. Too much sex in certain people nourishes and strengthens vitality and spirit. Abstinence from sex does the same with other people. I chose that second path.
JOURNALIST: Your admirers regret your attacking the theory of relativity. Your claim that matter has no energy is strange. Everything is imbued with energy; where is it from
TESLA: First it was energy, then matter.
JOURNALIST: Mr. Tesla, it’s like saying that you gave birth to your father, not him to you.
TESLA: That’s exactly the thing with the birth of the universe. Matter is created from the primordial and eternal energy we know as light. It shone and stars, planets, man and everything on Earth and in the universe appeared. Matter is an expression of infinite forms of light; therefore the energy is older than it. There are four laws of creation. The first is that the source of everything is in the Incomprehensible, a black particle that the mind cannot imagine, nor can mathematics measure; the whole universe fits into that particle. The second law is the spread of darkness, which is the true nature of light, from the Incomprehensible and its transformation into light. The third law is the need for light to become matter. The fourth law reads: there is no beginning or end; the three previous laws have always lasted and creation is eternal.
JOURNALIST: Your hostility towards the theory of relativity go so far that at celebrations of your birthday you hold lectures against its creator.
TESLA: Remember, it is not a curved space, but a human mind that cannot comprehend infinity and eternity! If it were clear to the creator of relativity, he would gain immortality, even physical if it pleased him.
I am a part of light, and she is music. light fills my six senses: I see, hear, feel, smell, touch and think it. Thinking is my sixth sense. Particles of light are printed notes. One lightning bolt can be an entire sonata. A Thousand Lightning is a concert. For that concert, I created lightning balls that can be heard on the icy peaks of the Himalayas.
About Pythagoras and mathematics, and a scientist cannot and must not err about these two. Numbers and singularities are signs that mark the music of the spheres. If Einstein had heard her sounds, he would not have created a theory of relativity. These sounds are a message to the mind that life has meaning, that there is perfect harmony in the universe, and that beauty is the cause and effect of Creation. That music is the eternal orbit of the starry heavens. The smallest star is a completed composition and at the same time, part of a celestial symphony. The beating of the human heart is part of that symphony on Earth. Newton learned that the secret lies in the geometrically correct arrangement and movement of celestial bodies. He realized that harmony is the supreme law in the universe. curved space is chaos; chaos is not music. Einstein is the herald of a time of noise and rage.
JOURNALIST: Mr. Tesla, do you hear that music?
TESLA: I always hear it. My spiritual ear is as big as the sky we see above us. I magnified my physical ear with radar. According to the theory of Relativity, two parallel lines will meet at infinity. This will make Einstein’s curve right. Once created, sound lasts forever. For a man, it can disappear, but it continues to last in silence, which is its greatest power. No, I have nothing against Mr. Einstein. He is a kind man and has done certain good things; some of it will become part of the music. I will write to him and try to explain that the ether exists, and that its particles are what keep the universe in harmony and life in eternity.
JOURNALIST: Tell me, please, what are the conditions for the adaptation of an angel on Earth?
TESLA: I have ten. record carefully.
JOURNALIST: I will write down every word of yours, dear Mr. Tesla.
TESLA: The first condition is a high awareness of your mission and the work to be done. It must exist, albeit vaguely, in its earliest youth. Let us not be falsely modest; the oak knows that it is an oak, and the bush next to it that it is a bush. As a twelve-year-old boy, I was sure I would come to Niagara Falls. For most of my discoveries, I knew as a child that I would make them come true, though not quite clearly… Another condition of adaptation is perseverance. Everything I did/started, I finished.
JOURNALIST: What is the third condition for adjustment, Mr. Tesla?
TESLA: Directing all vital and spiritual energies to action. Hence the cleansing of many things and needs that man has. I didn’t lose anything with that, I just gained. I got so much that I looked forward to each of my days and nights. Write: Nikola Tesla was a happy man… The fourth condition is the adjustment of the body structure to the work.
JOURNALIST: What do you mean, Mr. Tesla?
TESLA: First of all, it’s the maintenance of that circuit. The human body is a perfect machine. I know my circuit and what is good for it. Most people’s food is harmful and dangerous to me. That’s why I sometimes imagine that all the chefs in the world are conspiring against me… Touch my hand.
JOURNALIST: It is cold.
TESLA: Yes. The bloodstream can be managed, as can many processes in and around us. Why did you turn pale, young man?
JOURNALIST: That is a story that Mark Twain wrote The Mysterious Stranger, that wonderful booklet about Satan, inspired by you.
TESLA: I prefer the word “Lucifer”. Mr. Twain likes to joke. As a child, I was healed once by reading his books. When we met here and told him that, he was so moved that he cried. We became friends and he came to my lab often. He once asked me to show him a machine that vibrated to evoke a sense of bliss. It was one of those fun inventions I used to do. I warned Mr. Twain how much he was allowed to stay under those vibrations. He didn’t listen to me and stayed longer. It ended up, that he like a rocket, holding on to his pants, rushed into a certain room. It was damn funny, but I kept it serious. Let’s get back to adjusting the body composition. In addition to food, sleep is also very important. From the long and exhausting work, which required superhuman effort, I would recover completely after an hour of sleep. I gained the ability to manage sleep, and fall asleep and wake up at the hour I set for myself. If something in what I am doing is not clear to me, I force myself to think about it in a dream and thus find a solution.
The fifth condition of adjustment is memory. Perhaps for most people, the brain is the custodian of knowledge about the world and the knowledge they acquire in life. My brain deals with more important things than memory; with me, it hunts for what it needs at a certain moment. It’s all around us and we just need to take it. Everything we once saw, heard, read and learned follows us in the form of light particles. To me, those particles are obedient and faithful. I learned Goethe’s Faust, my favorite book, by heart in German as a student, and now I can recite it in its entirety. I carried my inventions “in my head” for years, and only then did I realize them.
JOURNALIST: You often mention the power of visualization.
TESLA: Maybe I have to thank visualization for everything I have created. The events of my life and my discoveries are before my eyes real, visible as every phenomenon and object. In my youth, I was afraid of that, not knowing what it really was, but later I received that power as an exceptional gift and wealth. I nurtured it and jealously guarded it. By visualization, I made corrections to most of the inventions, and then made them, thus completed. I also use it to solve complicated mathematical equations without writing numbers. In Tibet, I would receive the rank of High Lama because of that gift.
Yes, that’s how it’s done. My sight and hearing are perfect and, I can freely say, stronger than other people. I hear thunder at one hundred and fifty miles, and I see colors in the sky that others do not see. I also had this increase in vision and hearing as a child. I later consciously developed it.
JOURNALIST: You were seriously ill several times in your youth. Is illness one of the conditions for adaptation?
TESLA: Yes. It is often the result of a lack or exhaustion of life forces, but it is also often a cleansing of the mind and body from the toxins that have accumulated. It is necessary for a person to get sick from time to time. The source of most diseases is in the spirit. That is why the spirit can cure most diseases. As a student, I fell ill with cholera that raged in Lika. I was cured by my father allowing me to enroll in engineering studies, which represented my life. Apparitions for me are not a disease, but the ability of the mind to penetrate beyond the three earthly dimensions. I’ve had them my whole life, and I’ve received them like all the other phenomena around me. Once, as a child, I was walking with my uncle by the river and said, “A trout will come out of the water, I will throw a stone and cut it with it.” That’s what happened. Frightened and stunned, the uncle shouted, “Bade retri Satanas!” He was a learned man and spoke Latin… I was in Paris when I saw my mother’s death. In the sky, full of light and music, beautiful creatures hovered. One of them had a mother figure, who looked at me with endless love. As the vision faded, I knew my mother had died.
JOURNALIST: What is the seventh adjustment, Mr. Tesla?
TESLA: Knowing how to turn psychic and vital energies into what we want, and achieve power over all feelings. Hindus call it Yoga Kundalini. This knowledge can be learned, which takes many years, or it is acquired by birth. I acquired most of them by birth. They are most closely related to sexual energy, which is the most widespread in the universe after light. A woman is the biggest thief of that energy, and thus of spiritual powers. I always knew that and was careful. I created from myself what I wanted: a thought and spiritual machine.
JOURNALIST: And the ninth adjustment, Mr. Tesla?
TESLA: Do everything so that no day, no moment, if possible, is forgotten who we are and why we are on Earth. Exceptional people who suffer from illness, scarcity or society is too wounded by their stupidity, misunderstanding, persecution and other difficulties that the Earth is teeming with like a swamp of insects, leave behind an unfinished work. There are many fallen Angels on Earth.
JOURNALIST: What is the tenth adjustment?
JOURNALIST: Mr. Tesla! Does this apply to both your discoveries and your work? Was that a game too?
TESLA: Yes, dear young man. I loved playing with electricity so much! I always get chills when I hear about that Greek who stole the fire. A horrible story about a shackle and eagles pecking at his liver. Didn’t Zeus have enough lightning and thunder, so he was damaged by one ember? There is some misunderstanding… Lightning is the most beautiful toy that can be found. Do not forget to point out in your text: Nikola Tesla was the first man to create lightning.
JOURNALIST: Mr. Tesla, you just talked about Angels and their adaptation on Earth.
TESLA: Did I? It’s the same. You can also write this: he dared to take on the prerogatives of Indra, Zeus, and Perun. Imagine one of those gods preparing thunder, fires and earthquakes in a black evening suit, with a half-top hat and white gloves, for the New York elite!
JOURNALIST: Readers of our paper like humor. But you have confused me by stating that your discoveries, which are of immeasurable benefit to humans, are also a game. Many will frown at that.
TESLA: Dear Mr. Smith, the trouble is that people are too serious. If they weren’t, they would be happier and live much longer. A Chinese proverb says that seriousness shortens life expectancy. Li Tai Pe assumed a visit to the tavern was a visit to the imperial court. But so that newspaper readers don’t frown, let’s go back to the things they consider important.
JOURNALIST: They would love to hear what your philosophy is.
TESLA: Life is a rhythm that must be known. I feel that rhythm and I am guided by it and I surrender to it. It is very grateful and has given me the knowledge I have. Everything that lives is connected by deep and wonderful connections: man and the stars, the amoeba and the Sun, our heart and the orbit of an infinite number of worlds. These connections are unbreakable, but they can be tamed and appeased so that a person himself begins to create new and different relationships in the world, without disturbing the old ones. Knowledge comes from the universe; our sight is its most perfect receiver. We have two eyes: earthly and spiritual. One should strive to make them one eye. The universe is alive in all its manifestations, like a thinking animal. The stone is a mental and sentient being, such as plants, beast and man. A shining star asks us to look at her, and if we weren’t too obsessed with ourselves we would understand her language and messages. Man must harmonize his breathing, eyes and ears with the breathing, eyes and ears of the universe.
JOURNALIST: As you speak, I seem to be listening to a Buddhist text, Taoist words, or a treatise by Parazulzus.
TESLA: It looks good to you! It means that there is general knowledge and truths that man has always possessed. In my feeling and experience, there is only one matter and one supreme energy in the universe with an infinite number of manifestations of life. Best of all, by discovering one secret in nature, you are discovering others. They are not hiding, they are around us, but we are blind and deaf to them. If we become emotionally attached to them, they come to us on their own. There are many apples, but there is one Newton. He was looking for exactly the apple that fell in front of him.
JOURNALIST: A question that might have been asked at the beginning of this conversation. What is electricity for you, dear Mr. Tesla?
TESLA: Everything is electricity. First is light, the infinite source from which matter flows and is distributed in all forms representing the universe and the Earth with all its aspects of life. Black is the true face of light; what we do not see as such is an extraordinary mercy towards man and other creatures. One of its particles possesses light, heat, nuclear, radiation, chemical, mechanical and hitherto unknown energy. It has the power to move the Earth out of its orbit. It is the true lever of Archimedes.
JOURNALIST: Mr. Tesla, you are too biased towards electricity.
TESLA: Electricity is me. Or, if you will, electricity in human form. That’s what you are, Mr. Smith, but you’re not aware of it.
JOURNALIST: Is that where your ability to pass a million volts of electricity through your body comes from?
TESLA: Imagine a gardener being attacked by plants; that would be really crazy. The human body and brain are made up of many energies; I have the most electricity. The energy that is different in everyone is what makes a person’s “I” or “soul.” In other creatures it is their essence; The “soul” of a plant is not the “soul” of minerals and animals. Brain work and death are manifested by light. My eyes were black in my youth, now they are blue and as time goes on and the strain of the brain becomes stronger, they are closer to whiteness. White is the color of the sky. A pigeon landed through my window one morning, which I was feeding. It wanted to let me know it was dying. Jets of light came out of its eyes. I have never seen so much light in the eyes of a creature as in that pigeon.
JOURNALIST: Workers in your lab talk about flashes of light, flames and lightning that occur if you are angry or in danger.
TESLA: These are psychic discharges or warnings to beware. The light was always on my side. Do you know who discovered my rotating magnetic field and inductor motor, which made me famous at the age of twenty-six? One summer evening, in Budapest, I was watching the sunset with my friend Sigeti. Thousands of fires swirled, blazing with thousands of colors. I remembered Faust and recited verses from him. And then, as if in a fog, I saw a magnetic field rotate and an inductor motor work. I saw them in the sun!
JOURNALIST: The hotel service says that during a thunderstorm you lock yourself in a room and talk to yourself.
TESLA: I’m talking to lightning and thunder.
JOURNALIST: With them? In what language, Mr. Tesla?
TESLA: Mostly in my mother tongue-Serbian. There are words and sounds in it, especially in poetry, that are suitable for that.
JOURNALIST: Readers of our paper would be very grateful if you could interpret that.
TESLA: Sound does not exist only in thunder, but also in lightning; with her it is transformed into splendor and color, and colors can be heard. Language is made of words, which means it is made of sounds and colors. Every thunder and lightning is different and has its own names. I call some of them by the names of those who were close to me in life, or by those I admire. My mother, sister, brother Danilo, poet Zmaj and personalities from Serbian history shine as thunder in the sky. Names like Isaiah, Ezekiel, Leonardo, Beethoven, Goya, Pharaoh, Pushkin, and all the unquenchable fires signify flocks and entanglements of lightning and thunder that do not cease all night, and bring noble rain to the earth or burn forests and human settlements. There are lightning and thunder, and those are the brightest and most powerful ones, which do not disappear. They come back and I recognize them among the thousands.
JOURNALIST: In your opinion, Science and Poetry are the same?
TESLA: Those are two eyes of one person. William Blake taught that the whole universe was born of imagination, that it sustains it, and that it will exist as long as there is one man on Earth. It is with imagination as an astronomer’s point where the stars of all galaxies can gather. It is a creative energy equal to light.
JOURNALIST: Is imagination more real than life for you?
TESLA: It gives birth to life. I fed on my thoughts, I learned to manage my feelings, dreams and visions. I have always nurtured it, as I have nurtured my enthusiasm. I spent my whole long life in rapture. That was the source of my happiness. The rapture also helped me to endure the work, which was enough for five lives, during all these years. It is best to work at night because starlight and thoughts are closely related.
JOURNALIST: You said that I, like any creature, am light. That flatters me, but, I admit, it’s not entirely clear to me.
TESLA: Why should it be clear to you, Mr. Smith? Just believe it. Everything is light. In one of its rays is the destiny of the people; every nation has its air in that great source of light which we see as the Sun. And remember: no man who existed died. They have turned into the Light and as such still exist. The secret is that these light particles return to their original state.
JOURNALIST: It is the resurrection!
TESLA: I prefer to call it: returning to one of the previous energies. Christ and some others knew that secret. I was looking for ways to conserve human energy. It is one of the forms of light, sometimes equal to the supreme celestial light. I did not seek it for myself, but for the good of all. I believe that my discoveries will make people’s lives easier and more bearable, and direct them to spirituality and morality.
JOURNALIST: Do you think that time can be abolished?
TESLA: Not quite, because the first property of energy is to transform. It is in eternal transformations, like clouds of Taoists. But it is possible to influence the preservation of consciousness even after earthly life. There are energies of life in every corner of the universe; one of them is immortality whose origin is beyond man and awaits him. The universe is spiritual; we are only half like that. The universe is more moral than us; therefore we must know its nature and harmonize our lives with it. I am not a scientist; Science is perhaps the most appropriate way to find an answer to a question that has always haunted me, and that has turned my days and nights into fire.
JOURNALIST: What is that question?
TESLA: How your eyes shone!… What I wanted to know was: what happens to a falling star and a setting sun? The star falls like dust or seed over this or other worlds, and the sun scatters into our thoughts, into the lives of many creatures, into what will be born as new light, or the cosmic wind scatters it to infinity. I understand that it is necessary and that it is included in the structure of the universe. The point, however, is that one of these stars and one of these suns, even the smallest ones, are preserved.
JOURNALIST: But, Mr. Tesla, you understand that it is necessary and that it is included in the structure of the world!
TESLA: When it becomes clear to a man that his highest goal is to run after a shooting star and try to catch it, he will understand that his life was given precisely because of that and he will be saved. The star will eventually catch on!
JOURNALIST: And what will happen then?
TESLA: The creator will laugh and say, “It fell just so you could run after it and catch it.”
JOURNALIST: Isn’t all this contrary to the cosmic pain, which you mention so often in your writings? And what is cosmic pain?
TESLA: They are not opposites, because we are on Earth… It is a disease whose existence the vast majority of people are not aware of. Hence many other diseases, suffering, evil, misery, wars and all that makes human life an absurd and terrible phenomenon. This disease cannot be completely cured, but awareness of it will make it less severe and dangerous. Whenever someone close and dear to me was injured, I felt physical pain. This is because our bodies are of a similar structure, and our souls are bound by unbreakable threads. The incomprehensible sorrow that sometimes overwhelms us means that somewhere, at the other end of this planet, a child or a noble man has died. The whole universe is sick at certain periods, from itself and from us. The disappearance of a star and the appearance of a comet affect us more than we realize. The bonds between creatures on Earth are even stronger; because of our feelings and thoughts the flower will smell or be more wonderful. We must learn these truths again and again in order to be healed. The cure is in our heart and, also, in the heart of the animal we call the universe.
Knowledge (is the seventh adjustment) of how to turn psychic and vital energies into what we want, and achieve power over all feelings. Hindus call it Yoga Kundalini. This knowledge can be learned, which takes many years, or acquired at birth. I acquired most of them by birth. They are most closely related to external energy, which is the most widespread in the universe after light. A woman is the biggest thief of that energy, and thus of spiritual powers. I always knew that and was careful.
I created of myself what I wanted: a thought and spiritual machine. (Moon’s female energy… who mentioned that the Moon sucks up certain energies ???).
– Do everything so that not a single day, not a single moment, if possible, is forgotten who we are and why we are on Earth (is the ninth adjustment).
– Dear Mr. Smith, the trouble is that people are too serious. If they weren’t, they would be happier and live much longer. A Chinese proverb says that seriousness shortens life expectancy.
Little known Tesla- The light of a white dove
Seemingly paradoxically, Nikola Tesla, the creator of modern electrical engineering and teleautomatics, otherwise a great rationalist and advocate of Enlightenment ideas, seems to have been subject to unusual parapsychological experiences, visions and mystical states. This is, first of all, inexorably indicated by numerous facts reported by the scientist himself, such as about his parapsychological experience he had when his mother died and many others.
Thus, for example, in his autobiographical book “My Inventions”, Tesla cites a number of examples of his own miraculous, parapsychological experiences from childhood and early youth. He mentions “his strange pain”, strange images that he had when he was a boy. “In the silence of the night, uninvited vivid images of these scenes would now appear before my eyes and persistently resist all efforts to drive them away. Sometimes they would be so real in space, even though I could go through them with my hand “, describes Tesla. As these phenomena disturbed him, created discomfort and caused concern, he turned to experts, but they did not have the right answer.
The child of thunder
The great scientist was convinced that only providence gave him an extraordinary destiny and supernatural powers at birth. There is a legend, dear to Tesla, according to which the inventor of alternating current was born on a frightening, stormy summer night when lightning flashed and thunder struck. The midwife who gave birth to his mother, terrified by this lightning, interpreted these celestial phenomena as signs of the extraordinary destiny of the newborn and told the mother that she would be the “child of thunder.” According to one of Tesla’s biographers, this uneducated woman from the people “could not even imagine how accurate this description of a man whose fate would make him the creator of artificial lightning, strong enough to shake the whole world” was.
A stream of mystical light
What is important about this mystical experience of a white dove is what Tesla says about the “strong jets of light” that erupted from her eyes. What Tesla did not know, but only guessed, about the meaning of the mysterious light, we know today. In many mythologies and religions, light is a universal, archetypal symbol of spirit, divinity, and mystical cognition. Light symbolizes enlightenment, goodness, divine nature and life as opposed to darkness which symbolizes ignorance, evil and death.
In the Old Testament, God creates light with the word and separates light from darkness. And in Hinduism, Buddhism, and other religions, light symbolizes truth, cognition, and absolute, otherworldly reality. In the ancient Indian chant of the Bhagavad-gita, the model of theophany is the “shining torrent of light.” The awakening of an unusual light is, therefore, a numinous experience, an encounter with divine power and the otherworldly, absolute reality. In the chapter “Experiencing Mystical Light”, the famous historian of religion writes: “He who has experienced such an experience (mystical light) has suffered an ontological mutation: he has acquired another way of being that allows him access to the world of spirit.”
The encounter with the mysterious light was so striking for Tesla because it caused in him a radical inner change, more precisely, a deep and lasting spiritual transformation.
Since Tesla had no children, his nephew Sava Kosanović came to the room of the New Yorker Hotel, where Tesla lived, the day after his uncle’s death, to find a will. He took Tesla’s photos from the safe, and then an unknown locksmith set up a new combination on the safe. the day after, accompanied by a person from the Aliens Property Control Service, all the property was sealed and taken to a warehouse in Manhattan. A few years later, Kosanovic learned from warehouse workers that “people from the FBI came at night and filmed.” The then director of the FBI, Edgar Hoover, denied any involvement, but time has shown the opposite.
Namely, during the war in Vietnam, the US government began to investigate the so-called time warfare. The goal was to prolong the monsoon season and slow down the movement of the enemy. The research was based on Tesla’s theory of the abundance of electricity floating freely in the Earth’s ionic mantle. The project was abandoned due to a UN ban, but ten years later, during the Cold War, the program was renewed.
The Russians already knew how to affect the upper atmosphere. According to one version, Tesla’s documents were handed over to them by the SFRY government. According to another, the documents were submitted to them by Tesla’s assistant Spaniel, who was a Soviet sympathizer. The Russians created artificial ionization in an atmosphere of destructive power that also serves as an electromagnetic shield against missiles. The Americans responded with the “Star Wars” program.
The secret of Tesla’s “rays of death” also attracts a lot of attention. One theory says that Tesla caused them a mysterious Tunguska explosion in 1908 in Siberia. He asked researcher Robert Peary, who was then heading to the North Pole, to keep him informed of events from the trip. From the Bardenslif tower next to the lab, he aimed an air cannon toward the Arctic. Peary reported an explosion in Siberia, which is equal to an explosion of up to 15 megatons of TNT. However, the “Fladelphian experiment” from 1943 caused the most attention. Tesla led the “Rainbow” project in which he tried to hide a warship from radar with a low-frequency magnetic field. The ship became invisible, but to the human eye. When the generators were turned off, the ship appeared. Al Bielek, one of the sailors from the ship, discovered that Tesla had started sabotaging research back in 1942 when he realized he was going to use people for experiments. When he retired from the project, he was branded an outlaw. That’s where the story got a twist. He is hit by a car on the street under strange circumstances. He recovered, but was found dead at the hotel a few months later.
According to the official report, he died of thrombosis.
It is interesting that even the FBI agents, who followed Tesla in the footsteps, did not know exactly when he died. An FBI agent said in a document dated January 12, 1943: “Subsequent investigation showed that Tesla died on January 8, and not on Thursday, January 7, as reported.”
Little is known, however, about Tesla’s contribution to medicine. Historians of medical sciences consider the application of high frequency current to be Tesla’s most important contribution to this field. In an attempt to remove the sound vibrations that made it difficult to use alternating current for the arc lamp, he constructed a high-frequency alternator, which led him to study the properties of ultrasound.
Always mysterious
In the winter of 1891, Tesla first revealed to the public that a current of rapid oscillations could pass through the human body without causing either muscle spasms or tissue damage. He claimed that he came to this conclusion by experimenting on his own body. The scientific world was soon informed of the fascinating properties of Tesla’s currents. In New York, London and Paris, he performed the famous test with a light tube in his hand, exposing himself to a current of 50,000 volts. The experiment resonated as a sensation and hinted at the possibility of therapeutic application of high frequency current and voltage.
At a lecture on the occasion of the annual meeting of the American Electrotherapy Association, in September 1898, Tesla synthesized all his works related to electrotherapy. He described three groups of physiological effects of high frequency current. Using a test on his own body, he found that these currents cause a lot, in addition to the thermal effect, great fatigue, drowsiness and changes in breathing and blood circulation. In addition, he believed in the bactericidal power of his currents.
Another area of Tesla’s research of interest in medicine was X-rays. He performed experiments with tubes full of dilute gas and a ruby electrode, obtaining a beam of electrons, today known as X-rays. Contemporaries claimed that he was simply fascinated by these mysterious rays, but he had to leave the experiments due to a fire in his laboratory.
Thought on the retina
One of the first X-ray photographs taken in the United States, according to Phloiston, a journal in the history of science, was the work of another Serbian-born physicist, Mihajlo Pupin, a professor at Columbia University. According to the joke of this scientist, “the onslaught of X-ray experimentation is reminiscent of the onslaught of the West during the gold rush.” Excitement reigned in the laboratories of Edison, Pupin, Herring, Frost, Thomson and Tesla. Only Tesla, however, took great advantage of being able to adapt its high-frequency appliances into powerful X-ray sources. Nevertheless, in a text published in 1896, he expressed great respect for X-rays for his wonderful discovery and described the advanced methods for obtaining X-rays.
Tesla later touched on the problems of general biology several times. Movement is the basis of life for him. The behavior of a being is completely determined by external factors. As a true engineer, Tesla analyzes the automatism of living beings. Without a scientific education in physiology and biology, he gets lost, especially at the end of his life, in metaphysical speculations that astonished the public at the time with a mixture of grandiosity and naivety.
Nikola Tesla was also enchanted by the features of the human eye. Due to a misinterpretation of a scientific text, he believed in the existence of some kind of “fluorescence” of the eye during brain activity. He devoted much effort to the desire to photograph human thought, for he was convinced that intellectual activity was faithfully reflected on the retina.
