Many times, we question ourselves if there is the creator of everything and where does life actually come from. These kinds of thoughts puzzle us and make our lives very difficult. But, once we realize that there is a Creator, where life comes from, and what is actually happening on this planet, the pursuit of a right relationship with God and our neighbors becomes a priority. Attitude to our Heavenly Father is qualitatively different from our attitude towards people, because God knows what is best for us and we can have complete trust in Him. While this is not the case with man, certainly not in the state we are in, because “the heart is deceitful above everything.”
What is Freedom?
As we have already said, God created us in the function of love with free will and choice. Many, however, have completely wrong ideas about freedom. Freedom is by no means a state of debauchery in which we can and should do anything that currently suits us or comes to mind but implies the responsibility of moving within the laws of life established by the Creator.
What Does a Sin Does To Us?
Jesus said on one occasion, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” But what is the truth that sets us free? From Slavery to Sin (Read John 8). In sin we can only be slaves, with Satan as the real master, while at the same time he promotes his concept of good and evil as complete independence and freedom. Can you at least somewhat imagine the horror of this delusion in which humanity lies? Should we then be amazed at the confusion and inconsistencies we witness in all human affairs? People would like to enjoy sin and avoid its consequences. But that is not possible. Satan wants to perpetuate evil and its existence. This is also not possible.
What Kind of Life Should We Accept?
So, how far does freedom of choice go? And at what level is this being achieved? We can conclude that the actual choice is made on a spiritual plane. We freely opt for good or evil, God or Satan. There is no neutrality. Why? For the simple reason that God is the Source of life. We do not have an innate life. So, we can accept the pattern of life that God bestows as a self-existent Being that has only eternal, unreached life and who transmits to us through His Son – as the Executive Creator and Redeemer. Or we can persevere in the false concept of Satanism based on the irrational idea that each one of us are our own source of life or that we are our own god. A proper understanding of what we are actually choosing will help us to more easily and quickly reconcile ourselves with the channels of blessing God provides and at the same time live a relationship with God and our fellowmen. The most important step at that crossroads of the Bible is called the new birth or spiritual conception in Christ. However, even if we are generally focused on a particular goal, we make small decisions every day and choose one side or the other. Therefore, we must at the same time be wise and humble and watch our steps. Our struggle lasts for the rest of this earthly life. And it serves to build character.
The concept of Satanism in a cunning way offers supposed freedom to humans, but this kind of “freedom” has the hidden goal of inciting immorality and rebellion against God. In a satanized society, everything is allowed except the pure and unmixed truth.
